Staying with its goal of making outstanding technology devices, ASUS is back at it again with its Zenbook OLED series and making it more sustainable for its users this year.

On May 19, ASUS Philippines held the grand launch of its three new laptops under the Zenbook OLED series.

Highlighting its features, the company did not fail to showcase its convenience to consumers noting its military-grade standard durability, low emitting blue light radiation, vibrant colors, and lightweight design, perfect for everyday use.

But besides these amazing features, ASUS highlighted its sustainability, specifically on the Zenbook S 13 OLED.

“It’s the perfect eco-certified laptop choice for eco-conscious users who doesn’t want to compromise quality and sustainability,” ASUS Philippines product marketing lead for consumer PC Rachelle Lozares said.

The said Zenbook product includes plasma electrolytic oxidation, wherein it uses pure water and nonhazardous compounds present in the aluminum lead of the laptop.

ASUS also used post-industrial recyclable materials for its keyboard cover, chassis, and bottom case.

Moreover, they have used consumer and ocean-bound plastics for their keycaps and speakers.

Besides the unit itself, the company went all out to promote sustainability in their products, as they also customized packaging for this unit.

The printed manuals were replaced by virtual manuals, which can be accessed when the QR code in the laptop box is scanned, to avoid using tons of paper.

Highlighting its eco-friendly features, the environment advocate Antoinette Taus shared her insights on the sustainability and quality of the Zenbook S 13 OLED.

“What made it more beautiful to me is the fact that it highlights circular economy because it is sustainable and made of recycled materials,” Taus said.

In relation to the circular economy, she also emphasized how grateful she was that the product would be a big help in addressing plastic waste, which is one of her goals as an environmental advocate.

The launch of the Zenbook S 13 OLED comes along with ASUS’ newest products, namely the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and Zenbook Pro 14 OLED.

The four new Zenbook OLED series’ price range is from Php 74,000 to Php 139,000, which also caters to installment payments.
